Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: August 28, 2026

D&T Exterior Services is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, or other assistive technology. If something on this site gets in your way, we want to hear about it and we will fix it.

01Standard We Work To

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance Level AA. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium and are the standard most commonly referenced in connection with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

We consider this site to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Substantially conformant means most of the site meets the standard, and we are not currently aware of a barrier that would stop someone from requesting a quote or reaching us by phone.

02What We Have Built In

  • Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, and the element you are on is always visibly outlined
  • A "Skip to main content" link at the top of each page, so keyboard users can jump past the header
  • Text and interface colors checked against the required contrast ratios
  • Descriptive alternative text on images that carry meaning, and empty alternative text on images that are decoration
  • Headings in a logical order, and page regions marked up so a screen reader can navigate by landmark
  • Form fields with labels that are read out correctly
  • Animation reduced automatically when your device is set to reduce motion
  • The page language declared, so screen readers use the right pronunciation

03How We Check

We test this site with automated accessibility tooling against WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA, on both a desktop and a phone-sized screen, and we walk the site with a keyboard. Automated tools cannot catch everything. Judgments such as whether an image description is genuinely useful, or whether a sequence makes sense when read aloud, need a person, and we review those by hand.

The site is reviewed again whenever we make a substantial change to it.

04Known Limitations

Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state. We are not currently aware of an unresolved barrier on this site. If content is added later that we do not control, for example an embedded map or a third-party booking tool, that content may not meet the same standard, and we will say so here when it applies.

05Tell Us About a Barrier

If you cannot use part of this site, or you need information from it in a different format, contact us and we will help you directly and get the problem fixed.

Please tell us the page address and what happened. We aim to respond within three business days. If the fix takes longer, we will give you the information you needed by phone in the meantime.

06Our Services

This statement covers the website. Our services themselves are available to everyone. If you need us to communicate or schedule in a particular way, tell us on the phone and we will work with you.
